Mike’s grandfather sold his farm and moved just north of Bracebridge, where he designed a four-slat wooden chair that he hand-built and supplied locally to resorts and cottagers. As Mike grew up, he found he shared his grandfather’s love of wood craftsmanship, and in 1995, he built his grandfather’s legacy into a new business enterprise: Muskoka Chair Company.
