Mainly because when COVID hit, the boat manufacturing supply chain worldwide was interrupted, and rumour has it that the boating industry could be affected for the next couple of years before it improves to any significant level.
WITH THE CURRENT SUPPLY CHAIN PROBLEM AND NO INVENTORY, ARE WE STILL ABLE TO PURCHASE A NEW BOAT?

Yes, but it will take longer to build because production is also much slower.
HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO GET A NEW BOAT IF I ORDERED ONE TODAY?
Steve Davidson
That does depend on which model and how it fits in the production schedule. We are still getting delivery dates of spring 2022 if ordered before August 2021.
WHY SHOULDN’T I JUST WAIT UNTIL THERE IS MORE INVENTORY IN STOCK AT THE MARINA?
Steve Davidson
That would be a much longer wait, as manufacturers are trying to fill orders that customers have already committed to. Also, the benefit of pre-ordering is that it gives buyers the opportunity to order the exact model, colours, and options that are important to them.
HOW DOES ONE GO ABOUT SECURING A PRODUCTION SPOT?

The first thing you would need to do is figure out which model you would like to order and decide on which options are important to you.
